About

“Semantics Please” is the home of an innovative technology. I am an entrepreneur in Semantic Analysis. From a background in Psychology and Computer Science, I come forward to provide information with a new way to express itself: semantics.

The SALSA technology is born from my research at the CogWorks Lab in RPI. Not based on traditional data-mining or keyword extraction, SALSA emerged from the latest findings in language acquisition. It already outperforms traditional systems in Information Retrieval and Relevancy Tasks. This new technology paves the way for the future of Information Systems.

This blog is simply here to share some useful insights about data processing with an emphasis on Natural Language and Semantics. No SALSA is not open-source and no entries in this blog will ever be directly related to the technology itself, but rather to bits and pieces acquired during its prototyping.

I will also use this blog as a networking tool for anything that gravitates around the interest of entrepreneur-ship, applications of the “web3.0″ and business opportunities. So stay tuned for information.

Finally, if you have any questions regarding the obscure art of Information Processing with Semantics, please send me an email. I will do my best to answer any request.

In the mean time,

Thank you for you interest. Enjoy,

_Stéphane
