With a strong expertise and knowledge in the areas of Entrepreneurship, Financing, and IT, Nicolas is leading the efforts related to Business Development and Partnerships, Administration and Operations.
Stéphane Gamard - Chief Technology Officer
After his M.S. in Cognitive Science at the Institut National Polytechnic of Grenoble (INPG), Stéphane was a PhD candidate at the Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (Troy, NY). He is an acknowledged and published expert in the fields of cognitive modeling, language acquisition and algorithmic development. The underlying technology leveraged by salsaDev is a complex extension of the academic research conducted in the United States: how to derive sense from complex, unstructured information ?
Andrew Janowczyk - Chief Scientific Officer
Andrew has Bachelor degrees in Computer Science and Mathematics, and was awarded a Masters degree in Computer Science at the Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (Troy, NY). With experience in various industries, his CSO role allows him to further develop his passion for research and development of large scale solutions for data management. Andrew is a Laureate of the Nobel Peace Prize (IAEA 2005), and was a runner-up in the MICCAI Young Scientist Award in 2009.
Lorenzo Wiskerke - VP Sales Europe
After completing his MBA studies at Business School Lausanne, Lorenzo worked as a Business Development Manager for a multinational company in Milan. After this experience he worked as a country manager for a trading company in Milan. When Lorenzo returned to Switzerland in 2008 he worked 20 month as a Solutions Advisor and Business Development Manager for Dell Switzerland. Lorenzo has a strong expertise in Business Development, Client Relationship and International Operations and has a high passion for International Finance.
Rafael Rimbert – Software Architecture
Rafael is responsible for Internet applications at SolvAxis Holding SA, and previously held several positions at Sage Proconcept SA. With his strong engineering background, Rafel brings to SalsaDev more than 8 years of experience in the conception of enterprise frameworks and J2EE based applications. Rafael helps define and frame SalsaDev’s architecture.

David Brown
Dave has 20 years of technology experience in building and managing computer networks for multinationals, international organizations, banks, ISPs/ASPs and startups. Dave co-founded buy.at in 1999 and ran it as CTO. buy.at was funded by DFJ Esprit in 2006 and was sold to AOL in 2008. In 2008 Dave co-founded Poken (the leading electronic social business card) and he performed a number of operational roles for 2 years while the team was hired.
Stéphane Croisier
Stéphane is a serial entrepreneur who co-founded several start-ups, including Xo3 SA, Mycomponents Inc, Jahia Solutions Group SA, in the content management industry. He is bringing to salsaDev his vision of the market trends and its in-depth experience in creating new successful ventures. Stéphane is a graduate of University of Geneva, and has several years of experience in IT Business Consulting, notably at Arthur Andersen.
François Gilardoni
PhD in Chemical Engineering at UC Berkeley in the US, François is a senior Business Advisor at FONGIT and senior coach in the CTI Start-up program. François is also a Senior executive educated in Switzerland and the USA with more than 15 years experience in managing large, multidisciplinary projects in IT, Life Sciences, Energy, Oil & Gas and Finance. François has lived and worked throughout the U.S. and Europe and also have extensive business experience with Japan.
