SALSA Light is alive
It almost feels like going back to basics, but we have done it: Taking apart our own technology in order to deploy a light version of it.
We replaced the Java RMI based distributed objects (which where memory resident) with a fine-tuned MySQL database: less memory intensive at the expense of time. Simply said, and well done, the change of technology is transparent for all SALSA based tools and services.
With such a “portable” version of the SALSA core, expect Beta applications coming to preview soon. We are working to provide you with the best semantic experience of our technology
